The St. John's Tennis Association, located in St. John’s, NL, manages two tennis facilities. Green Belt Tennis Club "The Bubble" is the largest indoor hard-court tennis facility in Eastern Canada. Open year-round, it offers 6 indoor courts, clubhouse, showers and changing facilities. 

Riverdale Tennis Club is the longest established club in Newfoundland. Located by the scenic Rennie's River, its 6 courts are nestled in a relaxing, natural backdrop.

We offer a variety of membership plans - Full*, Weekday*, Pay-As-You-Play*, Junior, Student, Out-Of-Town, and Summer. We offer very attactive introductory pricing for first-time members, or if you've been away for 24 months or more, on our first three plans.

Thinking about getting a membership, but not sure? Our $30 for 30 Promotion is your best choice. 30 Days of Unlimited Tennis for $30+HST. Rackets and balls available for use.

We have men's, women's, and mixed leagues that run at various times throughout the week. These leagues encompass a wide variety of skill levels.

If you are interested in joining a league, please contact us. We will be more than happy to have a coach evalute your skill level and recommend the league for you.

SJTA is proud to have Green Belt Tennis Club as a designated Tennis Development Centre (TDC). The TDC program is a key component of the overall player development plan of Tennis Canada and its mission of developing world class players. The program annually supports indoor clubs and academies with benefits and services for meeting program requirements and standards of player results.  For more information about TDCs, please click here .

We offer a wide variety of programs for the beginning right up to the competitive player. 
Our enthusiastic and talented coaching staff is lead by our Head Pro, Mike Meaney , who brings years of experience to developing tennis players through Junior and Adult programs and available private instruction.
